Come Bye Border Collie Rescue puppies are wormed for intestinal parasites, received their age appropriate vaccines and are microchipped. If too young to spay or neuter, the adopter will agree to spay or neuter the puppy as a part of the adoption, along with the payment of an additional $100 deposit.

Please note this dog's foster home Location is included on this page, but you must go through the adoption process and be approved prior to doing a meet and greet with the foster dog.

Affectionate and Sweet!!!!!

Scottie is a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog mix... a Border Heeler some might call them...
He is approximately 7 months old. He came in to rescue with his 2 litter mates Sloane and Sway. He seems to be the softest of the bunch...except around food. He is a resource guarder with other dogs when it comes to food. He is new to me but has been very sweet with all the new people he has met so far.
..but typically a little reserved initially. He plays in doggie daycare everyday and is good with other dogs. Cats on the other hand... I don't know that he can be trusted around cats. Currently he shows the desire to chase them.... as we get closer to them and they don't run, he often loses interest. We'll see how he progresses as he settles in.
He has been very good in his kennel so far. He rides well in the car, but has gotten car sick a couple times and vomited. He is making progress with his leash walking...he hadn't really ever been on a leash before coming in to rescue. Updates will follow as I get to know him a little better

Scottie is being fostered in Plymouth, IN
