Come Bye Border Collie Rescue adult dogs offered for adoption have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative, spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and, in season, on flea/tick preventative.

Come Bye Border Collie Rescue puppies are wormed for intestinal parasites, received their age appropriate vaccines and are microchipped. If too young to spay or neuter, the adopter will agree to spay or neuter the puppy as a part of the adoption, along with the payment of an additional $100 deposit.

Please note this dog's foster home Location is included on this page, but you must go through the adoption process and be approved prior to doing a meet and greet with the foster dog.

Tommy is an adorable pup and has been so enjoyable and LOVESs people. He is being fostered in Plymouth, Indiana
What breed is this adorable pup? We are Waiting on our DNA results.
Tommy’s breed results are in!
Would you believe that just by a smidge his predominant breed is PIT BULL?! We couldn’t believe it either. Since Tommy is also 12.6% Border Collie, he belongs in our rescue. ❤️
When you click the image to see Tommy’s full results, you see that he really is an All-American Dog, especially with that 13.9% “Supermutt”. Knowing his breed results, you can see that his sweet little face may have German Shepherd coloring, and that ticking in his coat is definitely Heeler.
He is potty trained already and crate trained. He can do steps and training for this one will be easy as long as you have a pocket full of treats. He is a food driven pooch. Currently he is working on his sits and recalls. Once he knows his routine he is on it! Social with other dogs and will play for short spurts, but truly and enjoys his time with his humans and cuddles. He is not a high energy dog, if your comparing him to herding dogs. Tommy is a shadow to his people and has to be touching them often. His eyes are full of kindness and appreciation and he loves getting attention from his foster mom. Tommy comes from southern Indiana where he was confined to a wire crate on a porch. Neighbors complained about the pup because they rarely saw him out of the crate. Tommy was and still not at a pups ideal weight but he is truly enjoying many meals now in his foster home and gaining weight.
